Moorgate Dental is a friendly, business class, private dentist at economy prices close to Moorgate, Liverpool Street and Old Street tube stations.
Since 2008, we treat major corporates in the City of London including: Financial; IT; legal; & start-up firms.
We were finalists in the Private Dentistry Awards 2009 for: Best New Practice.
We are a general dental practice. Our dental care concentrates on stabilising and maintaining the health of your teeth and gums by regular check-ups, hygiene appointments and restorative treatment.

TREATMENTS
PREVENTATIVE DENTISTRY
We construct night mouth guards (custom-made) to treat Bruxism (tooth grinding/clenching).
We can restore enamel worn away by acid-erosion, caused by excessive consumption of: fizzy drinks; fruit juices; citrus fruits; wine acids; vinegars; heart burn; and acid-reflux.
It is important to check children’s teeth from when their first milk teeth appear.
We can advise on preventing decay and identify any oral health problems at an early stage. Fluoride application is recommended and fissure sealants can be applied.
DENTAL
HYGIENE
Hygiene visits treat gum disease, remove plaque/tartar and prevent bad breath. Gum disease is preventable with regular hygiene visits.
If gum disease is untreated, it can cause periodontal disease which is linked to: heart disease; strokes; diabetes; pregnancy problems; Alzheimer’s disease; Dementia; and severe Covid-19 complications.

Principal Dental Surgeon
Andrea graduated from St Barts & The Royal London Dental Hospital and was honoured with the 1st Prize award for: Pathology, Human Disease and Microbiology.
Andrea first worked in South London as a general dentist. From 2004, Andrea worked as a Managing Director in the Harley Street District. In 2006, the practice gained the overall prize of UK Private Dentistry Awards Winners & Best Specialist Practice.
Andrea was Sponsorship Secretary for the British Dental Association Metropolitan Council from 2004-2012.
Andrea has been the owner of Moorgate Dental since 2008.
In 2009, Moorgate Dental was a finalist for Best New Practice in the UK Private Dentistry Awards.
In 2020, Andrea was awarded a Fellowship of the International academy of Facial Estethics, New York.
Andrea is caring, pays attention to detail and has a fun sense of humour.
Maddy Gherman
National Diploma in Dental Nursing
Dental Nurse/Receptionist
Maddy started as a Dental Technician in 2014 in Rome.
She trained as a Dental Nurse in Bishop’s Stortford from 2016.
Maddy qualified in 2018 with her National Diploma in Dental Nursing.
In 2018, she moved to Almeria, Spain and worked as a Dental Nurse there. Maddy returned to London in 2019 where she has worked for Moorgate Dental.
Maddy speaks 4 languages fluently: Romanian, Italian, Spanish & English.
